Last night while watching Tv, my audio output quit. I have sound through the rca connections, but my Toslink and digital coax are dead. I checked the settings, and I'm still set on Dolby Digital. I checked my connections and cables and pulled the plug for a reset, but it's a no go. Anybody else experience a digital shutdown/failure?

Not yet. You better get a replacement.

Yep, blame it on D*'s receiver. It couldn't possibly be anything else like a bad cable or the TV connection now, could it?
Paul has over 1200 posts in this forum. He is smart enough to rule that out a bad cable or input before posting. And things do break, even D* recievers.

I never said it wasn't the D* receiver. I was commenting on the fact that your first response always seems to be "Blame D*"

I wasn't aware that post count had anything to do with troubleshooting, but since it appears it does, why are you still having rain fade issues?

So you acknowledge it might be the IRD, and still have to provoke him? In this case it's totally un-called-for.

If your only purpose is to pick a fight, I hear they promote dogfighting over at avsforum.

You're right.

Vurbano, I apologize for trying to provoke you. This forum is neither the time nor the place for it.

Sorry guys, but Vurbano called this one right. D* replaced the receiver this morning, and all is fine. I did say that I checked all my cables. I localized the problem to the HR20. Just surprised that D* hand delivered me a new box instead of shipping it. Thanks for the help guys.
