Correct. My question has nothing to do with HD. Obviously, when those two stations cease transmission of analog, their re-tran agreement with Dish dies with it. If there is no agreement for digital re-tran in place, will my 7xxx series SD channels go dark?

Although they have been uplinked for a full three years, it appears that Dish has failed to reach a re-transmission of digital signal agreement with both the FOX and NBC stations in Anchorage. When their analog signals go dark on Friday, will we lose our SD locals for those two stations?:confused:

Yes, my 211 downloaded 3.46 at 0300 this morning, and appears to have caused major issues! It was working fine last night for the ESPNHD Home Run Derby, but now it won't tune in a single channel. I'm heading for tech support ASAP.:mad:

In the "old days", a large dish was necessary. Since the institution of the Alaska Spot Beams, a 30 incher should do nicely. HD, off the 110, requires a second D300. I just installed one yesterday and we are pulling in the Alaska Spots @ signal strength of 85+. I had Dish turn on the Alaska HD...

Absolutely! However, I'm wondering how are you able to activate HD programming for just the 110 channels? I thought that all new HD programming activations had to be one of the "Metal" packages.
