Completely Unwatchable( Audio Sync issue )

The sync issue is driving us nuts. Where is this "lip sync to HD or SD" feature found? I'd like to try and see if it helps, but can't find it on any of the menus?

Did I get scammed by Dish?

Correction. I called back a second time and found someone who knew what they were talking about. The 179 I paid two weeks ago actually covered the 149 upgrade and the 30 install. It wasn't three separate charges. Thanks for your feedback

Did I get scammed by Dish?

I've been a Dish customer for a little more than 2 years. 10 days ago I moved and upgraded to HD. I was told the move would be completely free, but there's a $30 charge on my account for installation. The thing that bugs me more, though, is a $149 "Upgrade" fee to HD. I spoke to at...

Can I "transfer" shows into my new 622?

I'm not sure which receiver (I'm at work at the moment) but we got it in July 2005. I thought it wasn't possible to burn from the receiver to a DVD. That can be done? Via what connection?

Can I "transfer" shows into my new 622?

We're moving next week, and also upgrading to Dish HD at the same time. Since our current receiver-- which we will have to send back to Dish-- is full of about 80 hours of kids programming for my son, we're wondering if there's some way to move some of this into or onto the new receiver...

    CBS not in HD?

I'm planning on upgrading from Standard Dish to HD Dish in a few weeks when I move to a new house, but I just noticed on the Dish website that CBS is not listed on the local HD channels. Is there a reason for this? As a Jets fan, I was planning on watching Jets games this fall on CBS on a...

How to back up/burn content from receiver

Is the vip622 the new HD receiver I would be upgrading to? And are we talking just a regular big computer hard drive? It would hook directly up to the receiver? I could dump stuff to it quickly (not real time)? And it would be full quality we'd want to watch something...

How to back up/burn content from receiver

.. Hmmm. So I guess what I read was right. If I got one of those pocket DIsh things, is it a quick transfer? And could it be hooked directly to the TV to watch what's on there?

    Confused about "Dish'n Up" promotion

... What does the top 200 cost? And then I guess it's that price plus $9 per month? Nothing else, not even the $149 ? Thanks

    Confused about "Dish'n Up" promotion

... Okay, $149 but I'm essentially getting $100 back. Fine. I thought they said $20 is added to my bill for HD. The $41 I was paying included the $35 for programming plus $6 for DVR.

How to back up/burn content from receiver

My wife and I are close to getting an HD TV and I think we'll stick with Dish (we're moving soon, so we were thinking of switching to Verizon FIOS if it's available in the new neighborhood) but I see that the new HD receiver can only hold 30 hours of content. Our current receiver is...

    Confused about "Dish'n Up" promotion

I've been a Dish subscriber for two years, have America's top 60, and pay about $41 per month for one receiver, two TV's. I can't seem to get a straight answer from them about upgrading to HD and was hoping somewhere here could help. They told me there's this "Dish'n Up" promo which...

    baseball question

Before I left cable and switched to the Dish in July, I called Dish several times to confirm some things. One issue was whether or not I (a central NJ resident) would be able to watch Mets games. I was repeatedly told that if I signed up for America's Top 60 plus, it included MSG and Fox...
