LikVid: I doubt I'll ever be able to afford any of the Seavey products. They are just too expensive. Since I can't really use the dish, I'll probably have to get rid of it. :(

WyrTwister: No, it did not work. There was no way I could get the signal into the mouth of the LNB. If anyone has any luck doing that though, I'd be more than happy to give it another shot.

One corner of my dish is a little bent from being knocked over by the win a while back :/ How should I bend it back? It was recommended by another member that I place a towel over the area and then bend it back with plyers so as not to scratch the reflective coating. Would doing this be okay?

Is there any type of test I can perform to make sure that the feedhorn is the proper distance from the face of the dish on the LNB?

I just received my new C-Band LNBF in the mail today. When I took it out of the package, I realized I wasn't sure how to put it together. I have the "Orion C-Band CLNBF1LP" LNBF. It came with a feedhorn and the LNB. However, there are notches on the LNB that say "34, 36, 38, 40, 42". What...

What's the difference between a C-Band LNBF and an LNB that uses an external Feedhorn? Are the offsets the same or different? Do they require a polar motor?

Does anyone know what the focal distance would be for a dish that has a diameter of six feet? I tried doing the calculations myself and it came out to something like four feet--which doesn't seem right. Anyone have any ideas?

Actually, I didn't take any measurements...I didn't know that mattered. I'm guessing the LNBf needs to be moved closer to the dish? The scalar ring that was originally on there is actually broken. There were also no salvagable parts from the original LNB. I checked hoping I could use...

If you are talking about the KWorld DVB-S 100, then I suggest you use ProgDVB because it is possibly one of the only few applications that really work well with this card. You also must meet the minimum system requirements for this card. The KWorld DVB-S 100 does not have any onboard MPEG2...
