With the exception of news feeds, special events, and sports - are we going to see everything disappear? I just don't see why providers would keep renting satellite time when they could just get fiber - which will only become cheaper :( Hopefully I'm wrong about this and I have no idea what...

This thread got me thinking...I have a sathawk pvr800 and a 2140D USB...I like the blind scan and the motor moving of the sathawk fine, it just doesn't play 4:2:2. I can connect this USB receiver to the loop out of the sathawk and use it like that? slighly confused, not at my unit right now...

did you notice this recently? I applied the update this morning and have noticed this for the first time today. To be clear, we're talking about the same channels on the list on one satellite, not just bleed over right? Because I'm talking about for example seeing horizons2's channels and...

I did what Greg suggested, enter the info and exit quickly, that seemed to save it, scanning now! thanks oh but you can't exit from the menu if your "cursor" is on the long/lat bar, you need to run down to limit setup and click exit. Worked for me anyway, thanks guys...

I'm having issues setting up this new firmware... So each satellite requires its own setup now? Like USALS, but I need to setup USALS for each on the list? I actually can't get it to save my USALS info, it resets to 0 0 every time - maybe I just need to play with it more, but this new antenna...

will you be selling the remotes separately? :)

yeah I need to play with mine a bit too...I'm south of you in NJ and 74 is my south...and I've had issues seeing those muxes on 72. If I do a scan, 99% of the time I won't see the muxes, but when I do, they are coming in strong. Weird...have not manually put in the transponders though, maybe...

oh awesome...I'll check that out later... any filters in the menu for FTA/TV only? I don't like finding huge lists of scrambled channels

Hmm the 2140D takes between 15 - 30 min...changing no defaults. I'll have to look into the settings perhaps. The sathawk takes about 5 min

I took your advice from the other thread and the default sat locations work now for me and the motor drives to everything fine...I was screwing up cuz the normal order of lat, long was backwards in the menu :) On a side note, the blind scan is painfully slow compared to my SatHawk with H/W...
