I tried the trick described above with my dish pro twin and i couldnt get it to work. i just removed the disp pro dual from the my dish 1000 and installed that. that worked perfectly.

The Philly HD locals are not on spotbeam. My finace is from philly and very homesick. This made her happy and when she is happy, I am happy! I ordered the MLB EI package and now get the Ranger games. I should have just "moved" to Dallas after "moving" to Philly and hope that Dish wouldn't...

I am not trying to see the OTA HD locals on TV2. I am trying to see the HD locals from E* on TV2. These are the Philadelphia locals on 61.5 in the 6000 range. They are also mapped down but when I try to watch either the mapped down channel or the E* channel all it get is sound, program info...

I've searched the 622 bug thread and the entire forum and I can't seem to find an answer. I can view the HD channels on my standard TV2 that is hooked up to my Vip622. ( ESPNHD, ESPN2HD, etc...) However I cannot see the local HD channels. I get the program info, channel info and very clear...

To be clear, you are saying if the game in on the MLB package I will get it there?? Not on my RSN which I don't have anymore anyway. Just want to make sure before I pay the 100 bucks or whatever it is.

The Texas Rangers games are blacked out on MLB EI where I live. - Austin, TX. I recently "moved" my dish service address to Philadlephia so I lost the Texas RSN where about half of the games where on. If I order the MLB EI now, with my new service address, do I get around the blackout?

But I guess I could add the 2nd dish for the 61.5 and keep the 34 switch and just unplug the 129 input??
