I am a little confused about the optional $25 install of internet service to the receivers when you order service. Is this required for the Whole Home DVR setup? I assumed that when they set up the WHDVR, it would have to include networking. Is this internet option something different? Or...

Thanks for the reply. I found an HR-21-100 for $75, and a HR20-700 for $50. The guy says he has verified with Directv that they are "clean" and ready to be activated. Any ideas if those are WH DVR capable?

ah, but thats an easy one. We use our cell phones. No home phone. So the number would be different. I would think the address might set off some warnings, as well as the old dish on the roof, but whose to say we didn't get divorced and she wants her own account now. Who knows.

its an older 52 inch Toshiba rear projection. 1080i capable. I checked the settings on the box (I am kind of ignorant about this stuff) and all the resolution boxes were checked, but I didn't see anything about "native", so I guess it isn't set for that. Is that preferable?
