I've never had any problems with XM's customer service. I've had ~4 radios from them since early '03. I love the service. I pay annually. The only reason I've had to call is to switch out a radio, but I'm sure cancelling an XM account is easier than cancelling AOL (in 1998).

I've had issues with PV (fine for d*) multiswitches being used with DiSH legacy equipment. Something about the 22 KHz tone I think.

The CSR @ dish will most likely ask if you have a dish installed @ 129 and you'll have to pay for the programming - even if you're buying the receiver outright. At least that's what happened to me last year.

peaking on a particular transponder doesn't make sense to me. They're not on different spot beams are they? If a satellite is peaked on one tp then wouldn't it be peaked on all of them on that sat?
