I just turned on monk and it was in small 4X3 small screen. Also if you look at the description of the show it will say HD at the end of it and I sure can;t find much of that.

Has anyone seen an actual hd show on these channels. everytime I got it is just sd stuff.

Most of the new hd channels when they come on are limited hd anyway. Not even the pay hd movie channels are alll hd. What gives.

Why mess with any of it, the units have their own fan and my average temp is 114 degrees F. It is two years old and has no no problems. I have never heard my fan kick on unless it is so quiet I do not hear it.

To make all the complainers who want more hd another channel to watch and complain about as it has too much stretch o vision.

Some houses have nothing but plastic pipe in them. Then you need to find where the power company grounded their connection to the house. I would bet he did this just to get done fast so he could be on his way and answer the question on the dish fourm that he did connect the ground to the water...

I had no audio or pic with 446. A front panel power push got it back fine. I'm using hdmi. I did have audio and pic on tuner 2 with the super vhs connetion and audio cable to my dvd recorder.

If you read the fine print on the 722 specs, it says it upconverts all sd to hd. The fine print on the 622 does not say this. Does anyone have a 722 to verify if it does this and how well. I know my toshiba HD A2 does a super job of upconverting dvd;s and if the 722 does as well it would be...

as long as the strength meter is green you have good signal, yellow is marginal and red is ready to drop program at any time.

How much time of HD can you put on 500g/b, or 750 as was used as an example on the tech chat?
