Problem with that is a NHL playoff game could go for hours longer.. I remember a flyers game in the 90's taking about 4 extra periods to resolve.

Hi. Dish network 629 (flyers/winnepeg) standard definition isn't properly letterboxed so the players look like string beans. Can someone fix? I should mention I'm using a 321 and a 522 so there is no "format" button I can use to fix.

Did you call and complain to dish? I put in a problem report and twittered my disappointment. The said said that "no one else was complaining" so it must be at my end. Is there anyone at the NHL to complain to? Anyone we can get to before the game is over to verify the crappy quality?
