Lied to about locals in HD .. announced on CC and a year later still not there. Also the RSN's in HD are great and really enjoy the MLB network. Dish just dropped too many channels and always seemed to be in disputes. Very happy with D*!

I agree with the original poster ... these are the only channels I miss from E*..... although my wife would like E Entertainment. Epix has great movies and I do wish D* would add both of them

Congrats ... as an ex-E* customer for years you will love the HR24's and MRV. I was tired of waiting for my HD locals and being lied to. Also love my three RSN's in HD 24 /7. Seems like a lot of ex Dish people here and all seem to be happy! Welcome to D*!!!

My HR24 only works once in awhile ... usually after a reset. Hopefully an upgrade will help this out.

Jimbo ... being a newbie to D* my screen saver doesn't come on for Sonic Tap ... any way to activate or set timer on this? Really liked E*s banner that cameup right away on the music stations.

OK .. I had E* for years before getting D* 2 weeks ago. HR24 is faster than even my 622 with E*. Great receiver's and love the multi room viewing. Miss the guide button from E* that allowed me to swap guides quick. Now get all 6 HD locals ... as opposed to Charlie promising my locals last...

Just got my HR24 and H24 installed on Saturday. Really impressed with the DVR and it really flies. Miss the changing guide button that Dish had but overall really impressed. Only problems are my Caller ID is not working. Set it correctly, changed the phone cord, but it still does not work...

Rey ... I am getting D* installed tomorrow and am having second thoughts. I think the HD Lite is a bunch of crap ... do you really notice a difference? The only reason I am switching is for HD locals which Charlie announced coming last November... but still waiting. I am getting the new HR24...

Pulled what? It is on 214 ... weathercast is on 213. An agreement was made with Weather Channel.
