Ota I had the same problem but I was about 15 miles away. I also had a pre amp and when I took it off, it cleared up my problem. It appeared that the pre amp was over driving the receiver.

Connections I have my DVI going to my TV and the S-Video going to my Sony recorder and then back into the tv, doing this allows me to watch in 420P if I want wich on a non HD channel looks great. It is the DVI and Component that don't work at the same time iether one or the other.

Dial Out I also have my old DSL filters still inline, but here is the kicker; when the phone line is unpledgged i get the nasty hook up you're phone line or you will be charged 5 bucks. When the phone line is hooked up I don't get that message, so it must be dialling out and connecting.

How often should the 522 dial out? I have Vonage service and I am able to look at my billing in real time and my 522 dials out constantly about 10 times an hour for 1 minute. DVD Burners I have a Sony RDR GX300 and it has an option to out put in progressive or not to. When I select progressive I get 480p on both a 811 (non HD channels) and a 522. It will also record off of the HD channel, but outputs it 480p.

Monster All of my signal strengths remained the same, did not degrade at all and it only seems to be the one channel. I did check all connections at the switch and were all ok. I also ran it back normal and don't have the problem, it only happens when run through the monster. I might take it...

DVR Sony Another thing with mine is that when I am not watching an HD channel I watch TV through the Sone on progressive mode and get 480p on my other channel's and wow what a smokin picture! :shocked

Monster When I got home I replaced one of the cables that I was unsure of but it did not correct the problem w/channel 109. But the picture is much clearer and the sound is clearer also, and as for signal strength, I am still at the same levels as before the Monster. :D
