Seeking 3d models of Dish equipment

I finished the back end of the receiver (at least for today) so here's a look at that.

Seeking 3d models of Dish equipment

Ok, here ya go. If I had a high quality logo of SatelliteGuys.US with black background, I could put that in the tv screen instead and you'd have shameless free advertisement! :D

Seeking 3d models of Dish equipment

Ok so the last few days have been kinda slow for us in our area, so I decided to sit down and model a dp 34 switch and my 522 receiver. I am going for realism here, please let me know what you guys think. This is my first image post, so I hope this works. Thanks:rolleyes:

    Tech Forum Recap

I can't believe I heard that.. DVR'd the chat last night and they mentioned the locals migrating from 121 to the new echostar x. FINALLY! Tired of maintaining all those damn superdishes in my area; horrible design and about 95% of them all have beehives which heat up and destroy the lnb...

Seeking 3d models of Dish equipment

This probably isn't the right place for this, but I was wondering if anyone could tell me where I might be able to aquire 3d or cad models of Dish Network equip for a possible training animation I am considering for my shop. I do animation on the side and wouldn't have time to do the modelling...

    Vip 622 In Box, Not!

Yeah, the 411 boxes we are getting are green, but its a shame they dont ship the component cables with them. That's a pretty awkward moment trying to get a customer to sign paperwork when he can't even see the fufillment of his order. Go figure.

    dish installer has ?

Yeah, we do make a mess of things from time to time. Some of the new guys are especially a chore. I know I was when I started a couple years ago.

    What the heck?

First I would do a couple front panel resets when receiver is on, hold power button on front panel down untill receiver shuts off; receiver will come back on in a few seconds, reaquire signal, do another program guide download. If this does not solve it, try unplugging the power cord for about...

Dish is About to Lose Another One!!!

I would call dish, have them look up the work order for that day, and ask them if there was a retreive receiver code on it. If there was, then the tech will be RA'ing the old receiver back to dish through his company. I suspect that that was the case and you got a trainee operator at dish who...

    dish installer has ?

RSP is a Regional Service Provider; a dish authorized service provider. We do have an office of which I am a tech employee of, but we are not a retailer. We do new installs, upgrades, service issues, as well as fix problems caused by retailers.

    811 HD:Normal

Anyone else notice on an 811 that the non HD channels on dish (101, etc) come in really fuzzy, no matter if youre using svideo or RCA connnections? Most of the 811's I install end up with complaints from people about fuzzy tv, especially when it looks better with the 311 receiver. Just curious...

    Question about Dish installers

IMO, doing attic runs is way too much of a liability. If the customer insists, I usually hand him the drill and tell him to get busy. :) Ive stepped through my own ceiling, so I'm no grace, and definitely won't be blowing a paycheck on redoing someone's house cause of some coax.

Someone shot my dish with paintballs

You should be fine as long as they used a non-metallic paint. I wonder where you are at; noticed that you have the 105 SDish.. I install up here in missoula MT and was under the impression they weren't using 105 anymore. Guess I was wrong :)

dish pointing help (superdish with 3LNB

If you are looking twards the dish and one of the LNB's sticks out to the left, you have the 121. out to the right, its 105. I always aim for 119, and the rest should line up, providing your skew and elevations are correct.
