It should come with the new white interface. I had mine installed last night and that's what interface it has. Also, yes, I believe it will download the newest software when it's activated.

How long you've been a customer helps Vedhead, just curious how long you've been with D*. Based on my personal experience, that helps. Add that to the fact the more you subscribe to, the better chance you have for a good deal on the HD-DVR

I've never heard of the HR21. What's going to be different about this model as compared to the HR20?

I was thinking the same thing, Brewer. I was thinking about going all out and getting the premier package and waiting a few months to try my luck then for the HR20. For right now, I might just give that R15 a try. Thanks
