    d1000 isn't suppose to have a satellite foortprint that will cover ... brownsville area .... it falls short of covering the entire US ..... but does cover majority your 622 .... are you going to a HDbronze , silver, gold , plat. package? or just the enabling fee? because ... i don't...

    that's not a offical dishnetwork site ..... so my guess is no it's a retailer or sales partner Sales partners (I won't go into my rant about sales parters i swear) seem to have more incorrect info .... retailers ... yeah sometimes , but they are smaller companies and will feel the pinch...

    You know Direct actually rents some satellites from Echostar hehe echostar should just take the locals they got on them and use them as a direct/dish satellite and broadcast the ones they have on that sat to cust in the dma's dish doesn't have covered on their satellites ... but i bet that...

    IF it was the storm that was the issue having now run your check switch test it's now blinded and will not reconize the other satellites until a test is rerun..... so retest after storm too you have a 90 day warranty ... call dish after storm (and after you rerun check switch test) and...
