    3D is not for me, constant headache, I will not be suprised if we'll hear some links to brain tumors later. 3D = SD on steroids. That said, I am not against it, if somebody wants it and somebody wants to provide it - so be it. I'll just pass:-)

    Look for Next Generation remote extender (~$35). There is no better product to accompish your goal. I use it with Harmony remote in the basement home theater to control all equipment upstairs.

    HD DVR causing TV to turn off?

    It is your TV and not DVR. My TV (Mitsubishi DLP) likes to turn itself off very often:mad:. It is a manufacturer defect and apparenty they can't fix it. So check your TV manufacturer website and/or Google your TV model with turns off
