    can drop down no problem but you still have the DVR fee...no new customers can avoid that one...they made sure of that..i'm grandfathered thankfully

    small aside for anyone else looking for a deal. they usually (maybe even right now) run a deal for FREE premier for 4 months if you buy the NFL package. I dont watch sports but this is how i got hooked on the premier package years ago. Good starting deal

    note that on other forums i've read it's unlikely you will get an HR20 anymore. Just an hr21. so if OTA is a must for you, you may be out of luck. and no directv cant promise a particular receiver.
