Ok, I've installed countless dish systems... I must be old and rusty this 1000.4 just doesn't fly with me. I have an old dual buddy, it won't power the DPP LNBF, so if what I read is right, says to power the LNB direct to the IRD on port 1 of the LNB, then connect the meter to port 2 to tune...

Fixin to move... LOS only on SE side, tried dish tech support she saw what should could do, no go... not even an LNB. Seen on ebay around $90 with shipping. Dish mover isn't going to work in my situation. Maybe someone around Austin has extra one? Anyone know of anything that I don't know?

Ok, I am a tecky geek... since 1999 I always had to have the latest and greatest in cellphones, I don't want to know how much I have spent in the past years.... if one carrier had it, I had to pay to get out of the contract, etc, etc, etc... you name the carrier, I've had it. One favorite back...

I'm in a area that has been given the recent L616... my 1/2 brain engineer inside me thinks you should have at least L614. Try doing this... Menu 6-1-1, goto sat 119 let it lock on, then hit the power button to turn it off... give it a few minutes and maybe it'll download current software.

My 622 has been rebooting itself every now and then... I tink it just a software issue.
