Fixin to move... LOS only on SE side, tried dish tech support she saw what should could do, no go... not even an LNB. Seen on ebay around $90 with shipping. Dish mover isn't going to work in my situation. Maybe someone around Austin has extra one? Anyone know of anything that I don't know?

Ok, I am a tecky geek... since 1999 I always had to have the latest and greatest in cellphones, I don't want to know how much I have spent in the past years.... if one carrier had it, I had to pay to get out of the contract, etc, etc, etc... you name the carrier, I've had it. One favorite back...

I'm in a area that has been given the recent L616... my 1/2 brain engineer inside me thinks you should have at least L614. Try doing this... Menu 6-1-1, goto sat 119 let it lock on, then hit the power button to turn it off... give it a few minutes and maybe it'll download current software.

My 622 has been rebooting itself every now and then... I tink it just a software issue.

Try monkeying with that... only way I know to check is with a meter the cable co uses. If it seems to improve the picture but still not clear enough, maybe add another two-way splitter to it as well, that will likely knock off another -3.5 db. I've heard you can figure -0.5 db for each...

I'm getting the same on HD channels off of 61.5

If you already swapped the cables behind the 522, don't believe there is anything else to do.

It may just depend on the cable system in your area... what channels are in use, seperation between channels, signal levels, etc. Your signal maybe too hot coming out of the tv2 side, poor man trick could be to get yourself a 4 way splitter and place it on the tv2 line just before the reversed...

How come I just don't have these kind of problems?
