Question that has probably been answered before on the HD Extra Pack

I just completed another cancel/add cycle for the HD Extra Pack. Cancelled on the phone IVR system. Added it back 10 minutes later on the website. NOTE: I do not have a Genie on the account.

Directv dispute with Viacom IS OVER!

It was a real eye opener for me. When I told my kids they would be losing Nick, the first thing they said was "I can can just watch it online". This is my biggest complaint against Viacom, why would I want to pay more than I do now for shows I can watch online for free?

    10/12/2011 3:02pm - Uplink Activity Report - 120 changes

Yea i could have hit 129 at my location as well but I think that per Dish the Salisbury DMA is technically outside the coverage area of 129 and all HD installs that want locals are supposed to get a 2 dish install. (After 10 years with Dish, when I finally went HD I decided that a single dish...

Actually, only the OTA is 480 widescreen. Fox 21 HD is available on Comcast, Directv and Fios Is Salisbury, MD the only DMA left that requires a 2 dish install if you want locals and HD? A single dish WA install still works for SD only.

Dish CEO Hints at Possibly Dropping ALL RSNs

This could actually work out to be tiered pricing by different means. If you don't care about sports you go with provider A (Dish) that has no sports but has a low price. If all you care about is your local sports you can go with provider B (cable) that only has the local RSN and a mid level...

URGENT Letter...I did read some other posts, but....

Actually it is not free. I'm grandfathered out of locals in the Salisbury DMA and pay $5 less than the standard rate for my service level. If and when I make an account change I'll have to start paying an additional $5 a month (for sd MPT PBS and a sd NBC affiliate from Hagerstown 150 miles...

    Team Summit

    1. Some actual local channels in the Salisbury, MD DMA 2. SV channels to go along with that would be nice as well.

    its finally happned

99 should work great for me. The OTA Fox from WBOC is in fact 480i widescreen, but they provide a full HD signal to Comcast. Direct may have tapped into the same feed?

    its finally happned

mdram, Thanks for the reply (in both threads). I am shocked they included CW and the low power PBS (WDPB) from Seaford. I have never been able to pick up WDPB from here. Is it just a repeater of WHYY? I only have SD now but when I upgrade to HD I'll definitely look at switching to Direct...

    its finally happned

So what all is included in the locals package for Salisbury? OTA we have WBOC (CBS HD) and its subchannel (FOX SD), WMDT (ABC HD) and its subchannel (CW SD), and WCPB (PBS HD) and its 2 subchannels (PBS2 SD) and (V-ME SD).

Would like to upgrade my 301 receivers (Dish It Up) ?

I just had a similar situation. I had two owned 301's and one of those died. I am Top 120 without locals (Salisbury, MD DMA). Called about dish'n it up. They told me $50 and a two year commitment for a 222k (I wanted a receiver with an OTA tuner) and a tech had to do the install. I ended up...

    211k newbie questions

I just added my first 211k to my account and have two annoyances I would like to get rid of. I'm running the receiver as SD only through the S-video port. 1. When the receiver is "powered off" (I understand it is not really off) with the remote I get a bouncing tips screen with the dish logo...
