Hi, I am new to FTA also, but I wanted to mention the splitters usually are made to only pass voltage threw one side, so you have to connect that side to power the LNB's on the dish. Not knowing that caused me problems in the beginning. rjl75

Hi, Right now I can get TV from two cities one is 140 miles away and the other is 70 miles. This is good when regular programing is preempted by local news, or a religious preacher. In February 2009 do you think I will still have this option available? rjl75

Everything is OK now. I deleted the satellites when I found all the networks down on X-4 ( for free ), and never went back to G-1 to download anymore menus. Once I did the download all the satellites returned to the selection screen. Thanks to all of you, it seem I always have some problem...

I have the 4dtv 920 and would like to bring back the satellites deleted from the programing screen for the satellite setup. I had deleted them at one time when they were programed in not knowing it would also remove them from the master list. rjl75

No, I have never received any channels on the KU side of my 4dtv, but up until I got FTA my dish was only equipped for c-band channels. I never heard of any KU-band channels out there, so I didn't find it strange to not finding any. rjl75
