If it winds up being out of warranty open it up and check the microswitches. I had similar problems and there was grease caked up on one of the microswitches keeping it pressed in. Cleaned it off and running great since.

I would have gave them plenty of beer money for it. For shame!

1 meter and microHD same thing. 7% and nothing. Leave it there for a few minutes and bam Krbk until I change channels. Once locked I get 50 - 60% signal and no breakups. Other channels come in instantly. It's weird but I always just figured it was the small dish.

I would just use it. My 6100 was acting up losing its position randomly and freaking out right out of the box. It just had too much grease on the cog that presses the microswitches inside. After cleaning some of the grease off and cleaning some off the "0" switch it has been a solid performer...

From experience my friend! Once you got the cable and flash the new file over it will be good as new. I have latest firmware and still looped it with the channel bug. After looping it 3 times since new its not even a problem for me. A little voice in the back of my head keeps me from deleting...

It is not fixed in firmware. But once you boot loop it a few times you will remember to delete the channels first. ...ask me how I know... ;)

My SG6100 had issue an issue where the lcd count went blank and it would run all the way to the limit without stopping - a run away. I ended up taking it apart and there was a ton of grease in it, it had built up on the middle microswitch and it was sticking the button in. I cleaned the grease...
