    SES-3 Too "HOT" ???

Yeah, I will give SES a call and have them turn the power down so your reception will be perfect. Once they realize you are a SatelliteGuys member, they will be right on it!!!.

    SES-3 Too "HOT" ???

SES-3 is not "too hot" which is the dumbest thing I have ever read in the FTA forum. The satellite operator adjusts the power levels and keeps them in a level that is within their specs. You can't blame the satellite or the uplink facilities, it's obvious you have some equipment problems. Jeez...

    Directv 15 Launch 5/27/2015

I wonder if the new bird has the Directv protection plan. If they can't fix it, they will replace it. It would be a long wait for a service call though..

David Letterman's Final 'Late Show' Guests Announced

Thanks for the info, my stupid Directv DVR cut off the end. No reason for this to happen as the show was not live and the guide should have been adjusted for the longer air time. If I would known this would have manually added an record time extension. Thank you DirecTV, piece of crap...

[Other Topic] FCC plans for AM include all-digital discussions, digital receiver mandate

Television was mandated to go all digital, who says radio can't be?. It would sure help AM radio survive with better sound quality. Much better use of the spectrum IMHO.

I notice in the dbstalk website you can't talk about "moving" but you can here.

Because you need to let Directv know EXACTLY where the receivers are located so you get the correct local channels. They are not allowed to provide locals that are not in your DMA unless: They are significantly viewed ones, or you have an waiver for the reception of distant nets. It may not be...

36 '' Geosat pro vs typical direct tv or dish network dish for ku

Most people trying to use the DN WA or EA dishes for FTA is to steal programming, Just a couple of strong satellite transponders can be received with those dishes. For the basic setup, at least go with a 90cm for some decent signals. If you can, get a 1.2 meter much more stuff can be received.

project: butter on a hot potato.

When I lived in an apt the management tried to get me to remove my 90cm dish, went down to the office with a copy of OTARD and told them to pound sand. Never heard about it again and I moved before I had a chance to put another 90cm dish up. The dish was kind of hidden on the balcony so it did...

project: butter on a hot potato.

Love the painted on Directv logo!. Keeps the nosy people away, they just think your a Directv customer. Very nice install and good job getting all those birds. It sucks for apartment dwellers to have multiple dishes.

New here, looking for equipment to buy

That's a good deal for the 120cm. Most of the time the shipping cost is more than the damn dish itself.
