Yes, that would be easier, thank you so much. I sometimes don't understand things if I don't see them, so this helps a lot! Also, I have triplexer... what can that be used for? I know obviously the two tuners, but what would be the point in having a 3rd port on it?

Oh okay, I see. I think I will still try my luck w/ what I have, if I run into problems I guess I'll fork out the cash for a switch. I still don't completely understand how you explained this setup. Just for clarification, I have two Duos, and two solos. Would I then need 3 duplexer...

SUCCESS! What a pain the new receivers are to use. They have about a two second delay & refresh rate. Thanks for the help!

Sorry guys, I actually had an error when posting this message, so I clicked back and didn't realize it actually was posted. I got to thinking about it a little more and realize how far off I am... lol. They are listed out there as a SW31, but on the casing it says SW2-31 or maybe SW21 3-1...

Have a 1000.4 dish, 3 outputs. I have one duo on port 1, one duo on port 2, one solo on port 3, and have one other solo that needs hooked up. I have a SW31 laying around, can the switch be used in reverse? I don't want to buy an expensive switch to do this, any suggestions?

Okay, just wanted someone to verify, I'm on the verge of losing my mind trying to find 61.5. I'll go w/ the azimuth & elevation setting 1st, then use the receiver to fine tune, I just didn't want to fork out $20+ for a finder to only be used once. Thank you.

After trying to aim 61.5 w/ a VIP211 for a couple days and getting very finnikey signals, I think I know why, but could someone verify? I am used to using my old DP301, and just grabbing the dish and fanning it up & down in the general are untill I see a little blip on the signal bar, then...

That would be awesome if that was all it was, however it's not. I took my working VIP722k out and directly swapped in the 211 to test, and no go. Also setup a completely separate 500 dish and tried, same thing.

Well, talked to a tech & came to the conclusion that the box is defective. Guess I will have to try to get the seller to swap it for another unit or get a refund, this stinks.

Receiver is a VIP211, when doing a checkswitch, I get something along these lines... below images are using Legacy LNB's on 110, 119, Diseqc switch. Originally for troubleshooting, I swapped out my living room receiver for the new receiver to test, this was on my new eastern arc 1000.4...
