Ok, thanks. I'm trying to start with the Huntington Beach webcams at 11942, but can't get a lock in that at all.

    NBC related questions

Is NBC still active here at AMC 1? I had to reset things, and can't find NBC, nor the Huntington Beach webcams? I have to ask, because I know there's been a new satellite deployed to take over.

    NBC related questions

I haven't gotten anything via C-band as of yet, but I haven't tried too hard to get anything either. I should re-try again when the weather warms up (if it ever will) by positioning the LNB a little closer to the center. I wasn't expecting much initially anyways, so even a few C-band channels...

    NBC related questions

I can get the NBC Mux on 103, using a dedicated LNB on a rail mount. It's even offset from the center, but the signal still comes in well here in Southern Ontario on a 85 cm elliptical (motorized) dish (it's the LNB second from the left in the picture): I had to compensate for the offset on...

    Craigslist dishes for your perusal

It does look to be in great condition. Even if the pole was ruster or whatever, I guess I could just get a new pole. And there's this one too: http://kitchener.kijiji.ca/c-buy-and-sell-electronics-Satellite-Dish-10-foot-W0QQAdIdZ426093237 Which one's better?

What about this one... what do you guys think? A 10 footer: http://guelph.kijiji.ca/c-buy-and-sell-electronics-C-Band-Satellite-Dish-with-tracking-motor-W0QQAdIdZ410439026

    NBC Network Feeds

AMC 1 at 103 degrees does have about a -26 degree skew. I've setup a dedicated LNB on my railmount setup for my motorized dish (which has 4 other LNB's on it). Perhaps AMC 18 also has an oddball skew... I'm not sure.

Where to Buy New C Band Dishes?

If there is a servo motor in one's setup, will you notice a delay when changing channels that go from horizontal to vertical polarity?

Where to Buy New C Band Dishes?

I did contact Roger at rpssat a while back, but he didn't have any new dishes at that time (because of SAMI).

Where to Buy New C Band Dishes?

Oh ok. So I wouldn't need a servo motor though with the dual feedhorn and multiswitch, as that would become redundant?

Where to Buy New C Band Dishes?

Why does 18V need to be applied to both at all times? I thought the idea of 2 LNBs with the dual feedhorn was to have 1 LNB at 13V for Vertical and the other at 18V for Horizontal?

Where to Buy New C Band Dishes?

Well, I've done some more searches, and found some more sites that haven't updated their webpages, which is too bad. I guess a lot of distributors relied on SAMI, and since they are no longer around, they haven't updated things, but they should have. I know it is tough to tell which sites are...

Where to Buy New C Band Dishes?

I appreciate all the applies. The one thing I would like to point out though is that I have searched online for new C Band dishes myself, and have stumbled across many pages. But the pages are out of date, because when I do contact the webpage owners they tell me they no longer have things...
