I just got the Freesat v7, but the Galaxy 19 satellite is only scanning 24 channels (most of which are not free to air). My old receiver scanned all the channels properly, but unfortunately that receiver broke recently. I have the correct preset, but is there something I have to add in transponders or something? Thanks.

What type of LNBF do you have? Standard (LO 10750) or Universal (LO 9750/10600)?

Is the LNB type in the Install Menu set to match your LNBF type?

Perform a Blind Scan and not a TP or Satellite scan of all Free channels. This should log 200+ channels.

IF it will even finish a full satellite blind scan without locking up that is!! I gave up on mine last year and have only put known TPs in it one at a time and then scan them since. Like I've said before, they are junk, but, you get what you pay for!!:deadhorse2

:welcome to SatelliteGuys oabdullah!

Yes, those receivers are not much, but I have seen them work better than that. Double check that everything is correct.
Give me an example of what channels it is showing, especially the encrypted ones you speak of.

I've uploaded a photo album of what is going on on imgur. Hopefully that's okay.

To add on, I've tried setting LNB power to H and V also, tried different LNB freq such as 9750,10750, messed around with the DiSEqC ports, etc.
