Coming from an E* 622, which never turns off, what is the answer? Will the HR-21 miss a timer event if it is turned off?

Since late summer of 2003 with a 6000U, then an 811 on it's release and hen the 622 on it's release. I now have the HD only pack with E* and an HR-21 with D* for all other programming.

Only settings in the adapter setup I have found are SSID, Security (WAP, WEP, etc), Encryption (TKIP, AES), and DHCP or Assigned IP. I have set these to match the router and the router for some reason does not assign an IP address to the adapter.

Wireless router is a Netgear 54G. Security is setup as WAP & WAP2 so it will recognize both TKIP and AES encryption, DHCP is enabled. When setting up the Linksys you only get options to set the SSID, the security scheme and encryption, and DHCP or Static IP. I set the adapter to WAP with TKIP...
