my contract just ran out with dish and was thinking of switching to direct tv. however, I am concerned about rumblings I hear about direct tv pic quality for hd (hd lite). Should I be concerned about switching or are they similar in quality. thank you for your response.

My contract recently expired with Dish and am shopping around for the best deal. We (my wife really) would really like to save some money but I do not want to lose programming/quality that I am getting right now. After shopping cable, it was dismissed quickly and now it has come to Direct tv vs...

does anyone know of any new hd channels that will be added to dish in the near future? I like what I have now but would imagine new ones will be added soon.
