Jim, I've never noticed a issue with my QPH-031. Usually I always did blind scans and everything came in right within specs from what I can remember. I'ts been a little while since I have had it hooked up though.

These are $30 each. And wallyhts is right. You just load the SIP firmware on them, which allows you to use them with astrisk, freepbx, trixbox, ect.

John, If they are Dish Network, then about all they are good for is Dish Network. You may be able to get some free channels from them (I think NASA is free) with a FTA reciever on the dish sats, but that setup wouldn't be worth investing in. You could get a bigger dish (31 inches or higher)...
