Hello. I have had 5 or 6 Dish receivers in Test Mode. When I call A CSR to find out if there is a way to get it out of "test mode" I am told NO it needs to be RAed. Is this true? Can Test mode be reset or is it a foul up at dish when they do a referb? Thank you for your time. Monk.

Several of our customers have received a mailer direct from Dish that offers them, a Free 722 DVR among other things.. If we have to charge our own customers $100.00 for a 722 how can we compete with Dish for a FREE one? Mike

A customer just gave me a Sony RM-AV3100 Remote Commander. Basicly its the bad boy of the sony remotes, touch screen and a ton of functions including learning. Has any one got one of these to do basic on/off functions on this sony remote? Mike

Personaly I'd change dvd burners to one that has RGB inputs. But if the 722k you have now bugs you that much, I'd call Dish and talk to the retention/customer loyalty dept. and tell what you want just not why. OR Do the external hhd option and learn how to use linux. Mike
