I would. You get 5 tuners and can watch any shows recorded on it in any of up to 3 (I think) rooms at a time. If you have one HD-DVR, you can only watch a recorded show off of it in one room at a time. This may not make a difference if you live alone, but if you don't it can be a big deal...

You're right. It was an SL-5 as it now has 4 wires running from the LNB to the SWM-16. I had the wrong model numbers in my head. Too much SWM'ing I guess... :-P

Now that Nebraska has moved to the Big 10 (well, ok, it's not official until 7/1/2011), it is my understanding that some games may be covered by the Big 10 network (or other related materials). How does one go about asking Dish to add this to the "regional sports package" for our area...

Compensated? How about a free install of a 500 pointed at 72.7? That would really be the *most* that it would seem anyone should be entitled to. That, or a free swap out of their current dish to a 1000.4...

KFXL---051-01 Lincoln, NE Fox Also carried on Dish currently (in SD) as 051-00 (KFXL). Guide data shows up for 051-00, but not 051-01, so it may be a PSIP problem or a guide data problem. Regardless, it sure would be nice if it would be fixed...only been 3 months since I reported it. :)

I'd just be happy if they'd update the guide data for OTA KFXL (which they already carry on satellite and therefore have the guide data already...just changing a "pointer" I would imagine), which I only submitted 2 months ago... *sigh*

Also, the 222 has "issues" with some things (based on internet searches and personal experience). Having both a 722 and a 222, if given the choice, I'd choose the 722 any and every day, even if I never used the DVR part of it. It's just much more stable.

Spotbeam 20 on 129 and Spotbeam 15 on 61.5 (NE and IA stations only) look good. Cant say anything about the MO and KS stations on 15.
