    KNTV's transmitter is on Loma Prieta. It's an O&O, so I'm not sure why you aren't getting it via D*. Are you in the East Bay(Walnut Creek east) where KCRA claims rights?

    Yes, CSRs can be clueless. I was at a friends house Saturday, and was noting he wasn't getting ABC-HD when he should have. I live a block away and was getting it. He calls D* and the first two people he went through told him D* never has, doesn't now, and might not ever have ABC-HD!!!

    From the FAQ: Q: Can you click on the small channel within the Mix Channel to see the full screen? A: No. When you see a channel that you like, tune to it as you normally would Hmmm..what's the point then? So much for "interactive," or maybe I missed the point.

    Mine did the same thing last Thurs night during periods of heavy rain here in the Monterey Bay. That was the first time I'd ever had breakup due to weather. HD channels only. They came back fine after storm passed. I'd suspect the weather might be doing the same down south in LA and AZ.

    Probably a dumb question, but have you swapped the cable from the HTL over to your dvd player to make sure it isn't defective?

    Does anyone know if D's Prices are going to go up?

    When I signed up earlier this year, I was told by a CSR that I would be price protected for a year. After that my rates would then increase with a "planned rate adjustment." Not sure how much or to what services he was referring to...or whether he was full of s&%$.
