So those of us who have a 7000 or 8000 series samsung tv wont be rvu compliant at the moment but will be via software upgrade or would it be hardware upgrade?

From the first time I saw the two Ethernet ports and found out you can link up 2 813's together I figured one ethernet port would be for Internet and the other would be to daisy chain the second 813. Please correct me if I'm wrong, I'm purely stating this as an assumption.

It'll use the sling adapter that is currently available, so sling by USB, OTA tuner by USB (I believe you can have up to two on the 813 and one per on the 110's). If I got anything wrong please correct me, I'm just going on memory of the information I've read on this thread.

Not possible until dish allows it to happen with their app. The only other option until dish incorporates tv out into their app would be to jailbreak your phone, which is something you said you don't want to do but seems like the only immediate solution to this problem.

Don't think this has been covered before but under broadband set up in now lists "sync db" and USB wireless as options. Hopefully this helps out anyone that's been running off long ethernet cables or dishs powerline adapters, if it's even active and not just a placeholder

Whenever I ran into problems with sling not working I would reset the receiver, I would hope you've tried that cause the only other problem I would think would be with your router.

What receiver is this off of? Sorry I have a 922 and the dish online looks nothing like this, just figured I'd get something out of looking at this thread

well throw me in to the group of few that are experiencing a slower receiver after the update. I only see a slower response time when accessing the DVR, a second or two of the green loading icon and then it'll come up. Whereas before it would just come up.

If you're getting your official news through Twitter i feel sorry for you. The dish Twitter account is run by employees that don't respond to direct questions asked by someone they know is a customer i.e. Myself being one

I keep getting an invalid ip address message when I try to watch through my iPhone, I checked my receiver and it shows it's connected. Anyone else have this problem? It was working fine earlier this week

I actually did this but I put a layer of painters tape and then electrical tape so there's no messy residue if I take the tape off.

They only give it to you if you really need it in your set up. My installer used 3 to connect the remaining two receivers to my router. Before the install I didn't know two slinglinks could link up to one to connect to a router.

I'm in but its basically just hulu relabeled. There's the option of accessing your DVR but it hasn't been activated yet, at least not for me. I dont' see sling anywhere, it's probably within the DVR option that isn't working for me at the moment.

My 922 does the sound drop out when someone begins watching through sling. As for the other drop off issues I haven't had the chance to take a look to compare if that's happening with mine.

Overscan, change tv settings from 16:9 to fit-to-screen. I had the same problem.

I believe I figured out the admin password fix. I called both dish and sling tech support. Neither helped, each one did the old "call the other guy" routine. So. Logged into my sling account while on my home network. I was able to access my 922 that way and change the password from admin to...

it does that to me when im viewing off my iphone. I'm not sure if that's a glitch or its suppose to do that since its doing SD and not HD. On another note, has anyone found a fix for having to use admin as your password for the iphone sling app? Should I just call up tech support?
