I read this article on multichannel.com. both starz and disney is suing dish. apparently us dish subscribers are not suppose to have the starz/ encore channels for for 12x. Starz claims that they did not agree to this. here is a link of the article again i find this to be quite intresting...

i actually called in last night to inquire about this mysterious starz promo. the rep informed me that enable to get starz free for 3 months, you have to sign up for paperless billing/ auto pay. i am all for paperless billing....but i'm going to pass on the auto pay.

i haven't tried upgrading my service... i was able to downgrade from at 250 to at 200. then a few weeks later once the seasons ended over on hbo i tried to remove it, and it gave me that error message.

hmm i don't really see the logic in all of this. i mean i have the at 200 w/ platinum and i get both epix, epix 2. i dont understand why they ( dish ) would just add Epix 3 to the platinum pk both hd/ standard. but i guess for the people who are non platinum subs need a little love too, oh...

i agree epix is one of the better channels that dish has added in a long while. i watch this channel a lot, i just caught saw vi, and paranormal activity. the other night both for the first time.

it's funny b/c comcast here in sacramento carries the cw in hd. i've come to the conclusion that we wont see the cw in hd in sacramento any time soon. were stuck with the sd version oh well!!!!

it's the same out here in california more specific ( sacramento) we to are w/o the CW in HD. SMH at the fact that dish has not switch the feed to HD, it makes no sense what so ever...

when i had comcast i actually watched this channel and i must say that they have a lot of good programming on there. it would be nice to see dish add this channel and tvone but hey that is just my opinion. i am just a paying subscriber who bases his decisions, on the value and quality of content...

.99 ppv movies intriguing .... i think that dish should come down on the price for ppv movies. or like a recent post said have a special promo that takes place on weekends. myself i don't order ppv mainly becasue i work at comcast and i can watch them for free, but none the less lower the price...

that's right directv does have all of the locals in hd including the cw. eventhough i don't watch " GOOD DAY SACRAMENTO" it would be nice to see it in HD along with other shows. kmax 31 has been in SD for a minute now.

i live in sacramento and i see that we have all of the locals in hd. well just about every local with the exception of cw 31 - kmax.. it's odd how we have all of the other locals in hd but yet were missing the cw..... what's up with that dish?

@ orange county it really depends on your t.v viewing habits... i for one think the platinum hd pkg is worth the $ 10.00 dish is asking.. to me the best channel in the pkg is "Epix" "one" of the reason i signed up for dish was for this channel. but to each it's own if you feel that your not...
