Ok, after switching to Dish Network a year ago, I am still waiting for my locals to be broadcasted in HD. I do not have access to the correct orbital to get the locals (on the 119). I have the 61 orbital which is the HD orbital (I think). Each time I talk to dish network, I keep asking them...

sorry all, went away for the Holidays and just checked back on the thread today. The lag occurs on TV 1. TV 2 never has the issue.

Hey all the guide on my VIP 222 dish network receiver get very slow at night. When you push up or down to scroll through it, it gets very laggy. Is there a fix for this issue?

How do these channels work? Do i call dish network to get all of these free over the air stations? Or does this site just list what channel is on which orbital? I am confused!!

Well, the tech came out and I can't get locals. What is the name of the company that helps dish network get locals? I know its a website, but I cannot remember the name.

The locals are there...I just do not have line of site to the required orbitals. For some reason, a dish network supervisor said that I can get them. Not sure how.

Well, it will not cost me anything. They are waiving the $95 fee just in case it doesnt work.

I call dish network to see if they put my locals (Harrisonburg, VA) onto the 61.5 orbital. They tell me that they have done some pretty great upgrades in the past month. Now keep in mind, I have no line of site to the 110 and 119 orbitals. They are coming out to install a dish 500 in order...

I have tree coverage at my house for the 110 and 119 and 129 orbitals. Since my last post, Dish has sent 3 different techs to my house for a second and third opinion. Unless they place the locals on 61.5, I will never see them.

I just had the dish network techs out to my house today. I live in Augusta County VA too. I have the 61.5 orbital and I am unable to get them. They told me that the locals are only on the 110 and 119 only. If you have line of site to either of those two, then you are good to get them. If...
