    HD811 Are these Artifacts or Whatever.

    I have not seen what you have pictured, but the little squares moving during fast moving scenes are pixelation, pixelated if those are words. It is the 811 and not your TV. It happens during explosions, welding sparks, water etc.

    I've noticed the "No Info" also. It shows about 60-90 minutes worth of guide then "No Info" even after a reboot. Plus the sound/video is off, their lips don't match their voice.

    POS 811 acting up again

    My 811 with P330 has sound/video sync problems again. I reboot fixes it for awhile but it slowly comes back. Changing channels does not fix it. It happens on that one also, or all of them until a reboot.

    811 and OTA channels

    No it doesn't have to be on a OTA channel to load, whenever I press guide, it shows up even if I am watching ESPN or something. Weird that your TV shows it but the 811 doesn't, hence the reason you are asking I now presume.

    I have 2 811's also but never experienced any issues like that. I have heard of these remotes going bad, but never the receiver not responding to a good remote. Obvious things first, confirm SAT button lights up on remote as buttons being pushed, confirm 811 power on, change batteries...

    I have 5 OTA channels and only 1 of them provide the info. It is up to your local provide whether or not they broadcast that info. This is one area where it is not E* fault! :D

    It does it on HDNet, but not Discovery, Showtime or HBO. Don't really watch TNT, HDMovies or ESPN so can't say on those.

    Incorrect, you need both HBO & the HDpack to receive HBO-HD. Cancel either and it is gone. Same with Showtime. *EDIT* That is what I was told when I signed up for HBO & Showtime, however all my readings and findings both here and at Dish Network say as NightRyder did.
