    What features and convenience are you referring to? Sounds like you don’t have fast internet so it’s not an option for you so you belittle others that do have the option. Cord cutting is a much better option for me and I’m enjoying the features and convenience. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk

    Change Programming Package or Drop Dish?

    I had sling when we were between houses. It was a tough pill to swallow just to have sling, it's a great product but a huge difference from a dvr, locals etc. I'd cut my packages to the bone before I switched to sling if I were you. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk

    1303 on all joeys

    no HIC, only one hopper connected to router. The HIC puts the Hopper behind a second Tap, which knocks off one Joey... if that makes any sense. I took the HIC out and used a wireless usb stick to connect the second Hopper. This morning after system reboot, all was well.

    Why would it be a router issue? I have one Hopper hardwired to an ATT DSL modem via a Netgear wireless router. It's the MOCA network that drops. An hour later, I tried the network reset from a different Joey and the patient healed itself.

    All was well, 48 hours later - same issue except reset network does not fix it. :(

    FIXED! A simple reset network from the settings > network > broadband menu fixed the moca network. Reset Connection resets the Internet and reset broadband resets moca. No tech visit!

    I've done that. I have 2 hoppers/3 joeys. Neither hopper sees anything else and moca signal is low. Looks like a call is in order.

    Woke up this am and all 3 Joeys report 1303. Hopper still on S207. All was well last night when we went to sleep. Installed over a month ago. I've reset Hopper and Joeys. Any suggestions before I call Dish?

    A severe thunderstorm passed through my area Monday evening, knocking out power for a couple of hours. When power is restored, one Hopper comes up fine and the other keeps cycling on and off. When it cycles on I notice that PTAT is on two tuners, but before I can do anything, it cycles again...

The way we determined this was to run a tap from a Hopper down the hall and connect to the misbehaving Joeys (great trick to rule out Dish equipment) . The tech did everything short of pulling new coax and finally got my system working correctly...

    Mine is the same except for behind one of the Joey legs off a tap is a splitter to serve 2 Joeys. It works, just not correctly/consistently.

    your description is close, to the other hopper it's (Joey --> 3-way --> tap --> node --> tap -->Hopper) I'm not aware of a restriction, but it seems like there is.
