    Fox HD heavy drop out/pixalization?

Agreed, I came by to see if anyone else has been having the same problems.

Signal loss means error message while viewing a previously recorded show (722)

When this happened to me the weather was so bad that I was losing 110--the 722 was not on OTA when I started watching a recording. Next time this happens I will verify that though, and I will check the PIP settings. Thanks all, at least I wasn't imagining it!

Signal loss means error message while viewing a previously recorded show (722)

We're having some bad weather here in the Seattle area and I have noticed something that is really irritating. If I am watching a previously recorded show and the sat signal is lost during viewing, my 722 interrupts the show to tell me. I have to escape from the signal loss message, get back...

Seattle KCPQ Fox HD audio problems--update

I know I am not the only one seeing some audio problems on this channel. I complained to dishquality@echostar.com, and they asked me some followup questions... Today I got this update. Thank you for your email! We think the cause is software related. The fix may be coming in the form of a...

Anyone having audio problems on KCPQ FOX Seattle?

I am noticing frequent audio droputs on my Fox station. I don't think it is my equipment, because the dropouts happen during commercials and during programming just before they cut to commercial. It's very consistent that way. I have also noticed the audio drops during SD programs. For...

Problems with KOMO-HD (Seattle) on Thu?

Same problem here in Seattle tonight. I saw it last week, wrote it off as a fluke, but when it happened again I hit the forum.

There'll be no joy on Galactica, the mighty Charlie has struck out!

It is still SO much better than the YouTube quality that Dish provides, I am not complaining. If you guys are serious about your downloaded TV... hook a computer up to your TV, why mess with the disc burning step? Unless you are going to be keeping the episodes. My workflow: 1...

    Check out this 722 bug

I had plenty of time to walk into another room and get my camera. The show was playing with that junk on top of it.

    Check out this 722 bug

I saw text overlaid on a recording I was watching tonight. I wish I could recall exactly what I did to cause this. I think it just popped up when I hit the 30 sec skip. Calling up any other display erased the corrupted area that it overlapped so I hit Guide/Exit to get rid of all of it...

Completely Unwatchable( Audio Sync issue )

Like other posters I started seeing these problems recently, with the new shows. I stopped by to see if I was the only one. I guess not! I will try a FPR and hope for the best. Here in Seattle it seems to be mostly CBS and NBC though I think I have seen it on TNT HD too. I'm watching...

722 timers problem: corrupt shows, other stuff

Signal strength should be fine--haven't noticed any problems elsewhere--but I will be sure to check more carefully if I continue to have problems.

722 timers problem: corrupt shows, other stuff

Thanks! (I should probably make a reboot a weekly event. The other day TV2 freaked out and wasn't working properly, and a reboot fixed that. )

722 timers problem: corrupt shows, other stuff

A couple of times my 722 has recorded an hour show, but been unable to play it. The most recent example was tonight's 4400 on USA (#105). The 6 PM showing showed up as a one hour recording, but was unplayable. It showed a few seconds and then stopped. Is there any workaround for this? The...

My ReplayTV was doing this six years ago. I sure wish it would show up in other DVRs.

HD versions of DISC, TLC, etc same as SD?

I get that--I'm trying to figure out of the HD/SD versions of A&E, DISC, etc. have different programming. Then I'll know what I want to hide. It doesn't look like they are different, but the installer swore that they had different programming. (?) He's definitely mistaken about Nat'l Geo, their...

HD versions of DISC, TLC, etc same as SD?

Got my 722, pretty happy so far, but I'm trying to figure something out. The channels that have HD/SD versions next to each other in the guide include ANIML (184), TLC (183), DISC (182), etc. They seem to have the same programming. They also seem to be duplicated in the 9000's. Am I...

    Seattle HD Locals

That's hilarious. What are the odds I'd see an outage the same evening I got all new gear? I even thought about getting on the forum, but told myself it had to be a local problem.

    Seattle HD Locals

I'm also a SF fan so that is disappointing. Wouldn't have stopped me from proceeding though... Glad I heard about it ahead of time, I would have flipped my wig otherwise. (Now I am just hoping that last night's sat signal loss errors on 119 were just the new gear 'warming up'...! I'll be...

New install plan: please check my DishMath

Actually I am canceling and using a renter to set up a new, more advantageous account for the household. This is the plan, please LMK if I am overlooking any fees. Much obliged... I am going to use the DishStore special, I guess, where they waive activation fees. I'll do the 18 month contract...

New sub looking for best deal...

I am in the same boat except I need wiring too. The Satellite Solutions deal looks like the same thing as Dishstore plus an extra goodie...? Dishstore has a mickey mouse web site though and I am not sure I know what they are offering. This seemingly really important link on the front page is...
