Toshiba 52HM84 Also...does anyone else have this set?

Specifically, a Toshiba 52HM84. This is a DLP set that weighs 180 pounds. There are brackets (Sanus?) that say they hold this much but I wanted your guy's opinion? Thanks! Eric :confused:

hmm I have to admit..I like that Lab channel. It works as terrific background for dinner or gatherings and is will calm you to sleep at night too... World Sport could use some additional programming. I'd like AHL Hockey and Euro League Hockey myself...

boop Open the little door on the front of the box and hold the red button down until all 4 red bars light up. It is odd that we can't switch it within the menu. The bad thing about Native mode is the visual noise when you switch channels....and the grainy menu if the channel is or was...

Yip I've had every service and one thing is the same......VH1-Classic looks TERRIBLE. But it is still a great channel!

Idear What about if they offered an HD PACKAGE that would just have their HD channels? Maybe this should even be an HD Budget package that would give you VOOM's original 21HD and all of their non-premium HD's (Universal, etc.) plus the OTA. I could run with that, a subscription to netflix...

I don't know what my local sports channel would be living in Rochester, NY....but if they could put together a really nice superstation package I could get enough baseball from that. I would pay $15 more a month for that along with a bunch of other things I guess....

Unbelievable :eek: I have no idea what the hell you are talking about. I offered a couple different opinions on type of packages and prices and somehow you spin that into I don't want HD and should quit VOOM? What does thinking $20/per premium is too pricey have to do with not wanting...

1) I have complained that Cable has had DVR's for years including an HD version for over a year, however, to be fair - the quality was poor. I went through 4 SA 8000's and 3 SA 8300's in probably 18 months. And the HDMI-out on the 8300 steals the DD 5.1 audio away from the Optical audio...
