No you can't use a diplexer for that. You can bring an OTA signal into the house using a diplexer though. I grounded the second line mostly becasue I have the OTA antenna "diplexed" into that line.

When I had the 811 installed he had to replace the LNB and run another cable into the house so that I could have two recievers on the same TV.

question: Even if we get Fox-HD I'm assuming our local football games will be blacked out right?

I'd like to do the same... I've got a 510 and the 811 on the same TV. When I asked the CSR she said I couldn't for some reason I can't remember... Maybe someone else has more info?

I guess I'm confused... why are you going to lease the 811 if you already have it??

I watched the Seahawks game here in the Seattle area... The picture looked great and the audio was good too... that is untill I started have reception problems in the 2nd half. I'm not sure what that was all about.

I had a timer setup on my new 510 (I've had it for less than a week) to record a show last night. I was watching a previously recorded program when the little clock in bottom left corner started flashing. I hit the "stop" button to stop the program I was watching and turned the receiver off...

Thats funny because my 811 seems to be locking much easier than before. I've been pretty happy with it.

Why can't they display some sort of "screen saver" like Windows media Player? White floating text is lame.

I got home this afternoon and everything seems to be working fine... I didn't reset it or anything... Maybe it was just wanting to sleep last night and dream about the Sound of Music... :)

Last night, before going to bed, my 811 wouldn't turn on. The romote wouldn't turn it on, and niether would the front panel power button. I wasn't able to look at it much last night... and I'll have to wait until I get home to unplug it to see if that works... Could it be dead?? :no

I guess it wasn't on ESPN in Dallas, like it was here....? It drives me crazy that I can't watch any Canucks games! ESPN nor ABC is airing that series and we don't get CBC.

Got the update last night... I wasn't able to play with it much to see what was fixed. But I did notice that it didn't fix the OTA 49% issue. :( I might be able to play with it some more tonight...

Guys! I just tried what Nicko23 said and it worked! Bang I just watched King of Queens in HD! This works! and proves, in my mind that it IS an 811 issue. Has anyone else tried this? Great find Nick! :D :D :D :D If the software update fixes this issue then great, but if not then...

I've got the CM 4228 as well and it works great, except for that one station that I described above. The CM 4228 is a great antenna if all you want to do is get digital OTA. I'm about 18 miles from the towers in Seattle and get 80-85% sig. strength depending on the weather.

Yeah, I've got the same problem with one of my OTA stations. Hopefully that fix comes out soon!

You can use Diplexers. You'll find them at most electronic stores. I bought mine at Home Depot for $10 each. Radio Shack sells the same thing for $22 a piece. You can also find them on the web for cheap. My Diplexer setup seems to work great.

My 811 was installed yesterday as well! It was my first appointment... sorry guys. Everything went well with the installation. I can't wait to see the Hockey game tonight on HDNET.
