    pole mount question

    I have 2 dishes i was wanting to mount to a steel water pipe. I bought some muffler clamps to mount the second dish on the pole and ran into a problem. The clamps are to wide for the two holes that are in the mounting foot. The water pipe is 1 5/8 and the clamps are 1 5/8 x 5/16. Is their a way...

    119 question

    What transponder should i be on to peak my phase 3 dish for 119? The instructions says to peak on 23.25,29,or 31 but LyngSat only shows transponders 22,24,26,27,28,30,31,32. Thanks

    When to auto configure

    Getting ready for my D* installation. I have a phase 3 dish and a 18" dish for my locals. Not sure when to run auto configure. Should i auto configure when i am done installing the phase 3 or when i am done peaking the 72.5 dish?

    Is this true

    This guy stops in my brothers golf shop today and says he made a dish 1000. Says he put a Y adapter on a D* phase 3 dish with a dp + twin lnb. Dont remeber what switch he is using, i'm assumeing a dp34 or dp+ 44 because of the primestar dish for 105. Just wondering if he is blowing smoke.

    Direrctv1 at 72.5

    I noticed today that on Lyngsat that directv1 is now at 72.5. Any nres when it will be broadcasting?

    72.5 signal

    Bypassing the multiswitch,could i run a line straight from the receiver to the 72.5 dish and find the signal? Do i first need to find the signal for the 101 bird? I read that the signal meter for the 72.5 bird won't come up until you have the signal for it. Thanks

    primestar pole

    I have saw alot of my neighbors with two 18 inch dishes mounted on old primestar poles. i have an old primestar pole but it's a little rusted at the bottom. I was wondering if i could still use it? If so will an installer mount it there if i have it already concreated in the ground.

    pole mounting

    Anyone heard that when you mount two dishes on one pole that the dish on the bottom will strike the pole when you tilt it to get your elevation? I was going to do a pole mount using two dishes, 72.5w on top and 101w on the bottom.
