I've been debating staying with AT&T DSL and upgrading it, but I've gotten tired of them bombarding me to get their U-Verse TV (around my parts, people have had major issues with TV pixelization, but say the 'net portion of the service rocks).

I've had D* for 7 years and during that time, I've had AT&T's DSL for the internet. Its only 1.5MB, speedwise, and I am finding the need to speed it up (for streaming video, Netflix, eventually upgraded D* equipment, etc.). Do any of you use AT&T DSL at a higher speed? Recommended? Or...

I got what appears to be the going discount. $20 off for 6 months ($120). So my bottom line is like some others here... $299.94 - $120 = $179.94 I dropped the NFLST To-Go portion. I am quite happy with it on my HDTV and the price w/discount is cheaper than I've paid in the past.

If you have the protection plan and you are replacing the bad receiver, then the new one shouldn't invoke the 2-year commitment, should it? If so, what good is the Protection Plan?

I called and spoke with a nice rep. Bottom line, I took the $20 for 6 month deal. My total for NFLST and SF worked out to be under $250 ($248.94) which was my budget limit.

I got the e-mail today regarding NFLST Early Bird pricing: "Order NFL SUNDAY TICKET™ for 5 payments of $53.80 and save $20 off the regular-season price. Offer ends 7/31." $269 (edit: It was $45.80/month/5 months = $229 last year). It went up $40. No word on how much SuperFan will be.

Yep. HD feed from D* and the OTA feed from WDIV both hosed/pixelating. Must be WDIV's fault. SD is fine, which is too bad as the HD feed was awesome.
