thanks, but I have the reader. Unfortunately its not working correctly and downloading it again doesn't fix the problem. Some pdfs work, some don't and I'm not enough of a computer guy to figure it out so I'm hoping someone will just give me the info some other way.

I have a pronto remote that I would like to use to control my 811 but I can't get it to recognize any of the buttons. Is this because the remote doesn't output any infrared signals to the 811, only UHF ones? Is there a work-around for this? I tried to access the sticky about the 811 remote...

The guide on my 811 is having some issues. For example, it is showing "college basketball" on HNN and some NBA game on HDnet. Obviously those are wrong, so I was wondering if anyone else's guide has been screwed up today. Thanks

No way would I leave. I think that Dish is right this time. I'd rather lose a few channels than see viacom get away with what they are trying to do. After all, if Dish were forced to carry all of the crappy channels that every company has, where would the bandwidth for HD come from?

Why doesn't dish put CBS HD on the 110 satellite along with the other HD channels and make everyone's life a little easier, especially with all the problems with the 811 not picking up 148?

Darn, I'm in the spokane locals area so I guess no free 2nd dish for me. I do have Dishpro LNBs so maybe I should just wait for a fix to the problem before I get carried away.

OK. Now we're talking. Let me make sure I've got this right. I really need the local telemundo station so I call dish and they have to install another dish for free? Do they have to provide this service to everyone in the US? I really doubt we have a local spanish language channel.

Can the sw 64 be plugged in to an external outlet? There isn't a conflict between legacy switches and the dish pro LNBs? Sorry if these questions are pretty basic but thanks for the help.

Actually, the movies shown are very very similar if not exactly the same on both services. A whole lot of 1 hour imax (good but not for $6), Willard, and Millenium Actress. I wonder how many people have actually ordered?

I just got off the phone and the CS rep told me that the HD channel will be available but not until 6pm eastern, when the preview was actually supposed to start. They had no idea that the rest of the channels were already available so who knows how reliable this information is.
