Just curious, what kind of range are you guys getting on your UHF remotes? My 942's TV2 UHF remote barely gets through 2 walls, or even one when it's more than 40 feet away.

I have two IR / UHF PRO 4.0 remotes that I want to use with an old Model 5000 receiver. Can this be done on such an old receiver, and if so, how do I assign them to it? I've searched and searched, but couldn't come up with anything helpful at all.

We're still using our 942, but we're hesitant to upgrade to the 622 after two buggy units that we got (and sent back) when they first came out. We want the new MPG4 channels, but we're spooked by the 622 and would really prefer to get another receiver. Is there any kind of timeline as to when...

No, it doesn't. I'm currently receiving all of the New York locals in SD along with my Lexington affiliates in SD. If I can get the NY stations in SD, why should I assume it would be any different for HD? That makes absolutely no sense to me, nor have I ever seen anything like that mentioned...

Well, that's what I thought. However, upon calling Dish after my 622 install today, they said I can't get ABC, NBC, or any locals in HD other than CBS... EDIT: Upon reading this thread, apparently Dish was right. Great! What a waste of time and money.
