if you mean like the Remote and tv2 signal, i would agree they should have that on the same cable to make things easier. but some people might not need the remote 2 transmitter next to their tv2 (for some reason)

no its only 61.5 i dont mean extended extended guide, just like 1 day ahead even while when i connect just my single dish wire to the reciver it will update the guide (although dvr features wont work)

ok so i should just go ahead and buy the quad lnb. is there any diff kinds of quads or not? to go with d500? also i will be connecting 2 outputs to a dual tuner and 1 out of the remaining two to the single receiver. thanks guys

in regards to quad lnb - i wanted to use the 2 outputs for my dual tuner receiver and leave the other 2 for any further recivers that i buy. BUt i guess i am just better off buying a dual

I have question about quad lnb I have dish 500 (pointed to 61.5) with DVR 625 If i install a quad lnb , would all 4 outputs be 61.5. ?? or not? i am asking because when i install 2 single lnbs only 1 lnb picks up the 61.5 while the other dont pick up anything. Thanks,

ok one last concern( i hope) on dish 500, With a quad lnb on 61.5. will ALL the outputs be operable with 61.5 right? cuz i tried 2 single lnbs and it didnt pick up the signal on the right side lnb..

i know i can work with a dual lnb which i had before. but it got damaged so i had to use an old single lnb ( i have dish 500) btw i know i can use the single/shared view but dual view(dual tuner working)= less fights over which channel to watch. so everyone can change their own channels

i wonder if i can do that i used the separator(which is of high frequency) but it didnt work(i think)
