YES Network on Sling but not Dish?

Can someone explain what the situation is here? Sling TV added YES (along with other FOX owned RSN's) last week. This is a bit amazing considering DISH's history with YES. Are they now negotiating contracts for Sling that aren't tied to the satellite service? If so, this presents a lot of...

out of market feed shown at local bar?

I was at a bar very close to my house last Friday evening (in the NJ burbs just outside NYC) and the local bar was showing the Yankee/Angel game on FSAngels. I was a little surprised by this but did not question it. I was under the assumption that the blackout rules protect the local team by...

Any idea where the N will fall in the channel lineup?

As everyone knows the N is currently on 9576, are they ever going to reposition this? I mean it took forever just to get the N so I can't imagine they are in a hurry to find a better spot for it. Also, why is Nick GAS still on the air? What is going on with this?

    NYC local outage?

Was watching the tail end of 24 and now I am seeing a "Sorry for the interruption" slate. WABC is out as well here in NJ.

    Dish's Future Plans for Satellites?

It seems to me from what I read on here week to week that DISH's satellite capacity seems to be somewhat messy and disorganized. Obviously, E* 10 will clear a lot of that up with the spotbeams and the locals. Will DISH ever convert all its programming to MPEG4 in order to increase capacity on...

MLB.TV : Is it worth it?

I am a DISH Network subscriber. Subscribing to MLB Extra Innings seems fruitless due to the lack of RSN's available. YES, MASN, SNY, SportsNet Philadelphia. Also MLB EI does NOT provide the OTA feeds (e.x. WWOR9 carrying a Yankee game) where as MLB.TV does. I am in the NY territory claimed by...

    Packaging Question: Is This Possible?

I subscribe to DISH and have come to the conclusion, I'll never have YES or SNY. These are the ONLY two channels I really want and can't get with DISH and Cablevision wants to give me a nice mugging to get them. Basically, my question is this: Can I sign up with DirecTV lets say for the...

What's the cheapest way to get my RSN?

Being that I live near NYC and have E* I dont get YES and I'm under the assumption I probably won't be seeing Sportsnet New York (new mets channel) either. Unfortunately, everyone in my house loves Dish Network and doesn't care about professional sports. I understand that I have to subscribe...

    Is Charlie a seller?

I don't normally post but I've been reading all the threads talking about Charlie selling out to Viacom. Scott, are you just speculating at this point or do you have some sort of information from one of your contacts?

    YES Network

Haven't seen many postings over here regarding YES. It is currently uplinked on channel 408 (Not available to subs). According to JohnH over at dbstalk, there is EPG info in the stream. Scott, can you dig up some information? Is there a possibility YES is on its way?
