    eastern arc problems

    Eastern Arc I have been using the 1000.4 dish for two months. Receivers are the 211K and 612. I have had none of the problems you have posted. Actually had to do very few reboots but have not experienced any hang ups on the 1-5 screen acquiring sat.

    I am set up and receiving 61.5 and 72.7 now. I peaked the1000.4 on 72.7. I remember when I ran the check switch and info came back saying I now had fewer satellites.(Had 61.5, 110 & 119). I will run another check switch tonight and see if I can pick up 77.

    You put a treated pc. of pine 6 x 6 in concrete and it will stay with you. The poles are only about .030 a side wall thickness.

    This is also the pole diam. for the new EA 1000.4 dish (OD 1 5/8"). The pole diam. for the slimline DirectTV dish is 2" .

    I have the 612 and I have the option for I am Legend. So yes the 612 does receive the HD movies. I am liking the 612 more and more.

    My zip is 37919. When using satellite 61.5 with a DishPro LNB and 500 dish, what transponder should I use to check the signal strength and what would be a strong reading( on new meter)? LOS is perfect.

    I would think he could only get three sats. He would have to disconnect 129 from the IN(Switch) port of the DishProPlus he is currently using on the 1000, thus giving him 110,119 and 61.5. That would be max for two runs to the house. I am going to set mine up this week end to receive my locals...

    Will Recordings on USB Drive work on replacement 622?

    I bought and replaced a 622 with a 612. I was told by Dish I would have to pay another $40.00 to activate the EHD. I thought the $40.00 stayed with the account and since I would have only one EHD, should I have to pay another $40.00 to activate the 612 EHD?
