I've got a regular old landline from Qwest and it has never worked right with DirecTV and my HR-22. Every once in a while it works, but most of the time it is either UNAVAILABLE or it just doesn't even pop up at all. Caller ID worked fine on my Dish 622 so its obviously just DirecTV's box sucks...

No HDCP = FAIL? Unless I'm missing something, this sucks. They can take their DRM nonsense and take a hike. If I really wanted to steal some HD content there is about a thousand easier ways to do it.

I get this on CW channel 32 here in Portland, OR. It sucks. Luckily I don't watch that channel anyway. I used to try to for the Seinfeld reruns but I couldn't because of this audio glitch. Now that TBS is showing HD Seinfeld I quit watching channel 32 altogether... It would be nice to get this...

Yeah they've been doing that here in Portland too. On a side note I'm having problems with the signal on all my locals dropping out today and I'm assuming its because theres about a 1/4" layer of ice on the face of the dish from all this freezing rain. Any protips on getting that junk off...

I've been wondering the same thing. Does this have anything to do with those Fisher contracts or what? I hope they fix it soon, this Patriots game is a blowout and I was really getting a kick out of their 24/7 round the clock "zomg look at the snow!!11" storm coverage.

It sounds like Dish Network finally got it together enough to address this issue. To all those that had this problem, I know how annoying it was and I really hope its finally fixed for you! (It's three months too late but at least they tried.)

I can't believe everyone is still putting up with this. Just to reiterate I bailed two months ago over this exact issue and never looked back. Glad to Dish has fixed it! Way to go Dish!
