The AZBOX premium+ is probably the best all around receiver on the market. As someone said the Openbox green tint issue is a thing of the past. I hated doing TV off of the PC, I stopped that a long time ago, and just went with set tops.

If you like sports, you would want to have 4:2:2. I am using the Openbox as my main receiver now and for turning my KU dish, with a AZBOX Elite as a slave for 4:2:2.

Are you going to be C-Band, KU or both? mainly PBS and sports on KU, more full-time HD channels on C-Band. I think many are now using a AZBOX as a receiver.

I have use a few different types for fan cooling as well. All seem to work well, but I did not really find any difference in the way it operates. I just turn the power switch off at the front when I do use it (overnight etc...).

A robots.txt does a very good job of keeping pages off google etc... I use them to keep my pages off of them. I don't see what is so hard in having someone log in though, you don't have to pay for it -it is free. Seems like a easy compromise and a no brainer.

Have never counted, but there is a ton of S2 on C-Band. I find it more of C-Band thing then KU. I use a 10' dish for C-Band.

Just run a short cable from the loop out on your main unit to the sat terminal on the receiver you want to slave.

The S2 Plus board for it works well and is fairly cheap, with it you can get it all except for 4:2:2 (which the AZBOX gets). Nice upgrade till you add your AZBOX for the other TV.
