Is there anyway to export a program or movie that you have recorded? I have a HR-24 and thought it would be nice to copy a program that my friend doesn't get, so we could watch it at his house. Or is it encoded or something? I was thinking a thumb drive or something?

I seem to get a fair amount of little audio dropouts. They only last a fraction of a second. If they made noise it would be a click, so that's how short it is. I used optical Dolby output but switched it to regular cable see if that helped and it didn't Anybody else get them?

That would be helpful, except in my situation where the Sat and Sun shows of Beck are repeats of the one shown of Fri at 2pm. As it is now I wind up with 4 recordings of the 2pm Fri show unless I delete the repeats manually I just wrote to DTV and asked them to look into the problem.

I guess mine never got taught what first run is. I set it to record only first run Glenn Becks and it records the one at 2pm and again at 11. Is there a code or something it is not reading? It's easy enough to delete the second one, just wondering
